"At the very end of the last newsletter, we included a paragraph about this company, but we thought they deserved a little more time. Enclosed is a brochure and information sheet from The Shop-In Service. This unique service is the brainchild of a woman named Lisa Geng. She and her husband, and their associates, provide a service delivering food, clothing, and other items to individuals who are unable to shop for themselves. "We thought this was a great idea, not only for the disabled and elderly, but also for people whose mobility is temporarily limited, to those who simply have no time to shop for themselves. Patients who are recovering from a total knee replacement or ACL repair and live alone can find it difficult to find people willing to shop for them. This service allows them to shop for themselves from home. "We are not endorsing this service, or any of the products they sell.
