Hi everyone!

We are days away from the First Ever Apraxia Conference (July 23rd, 24th 2001) focused on the very exciting results we have seen on the treatment of verbal apraxia with essential fatty acids. We have had such a terrific response from both scientific/medical communities and parents that the agenda and objectives of the conference have grown larger than our budget :o) That is why we are sending this URGENT request for help.

This conference will be a major step in our quest to improve the verbal communication abilities of every apraxic child by:

	By planning and designing a multicenter clinical trial to validate the therapeutic efficacy of essential fatty acid (EFA)supplementation in verbal apraxia and possibly other developmental and neurological childhood disorders.
	By initiating basic research into the pathophysiology of verbal apraxia in order to understand the mechanisms of EFA involvement with these disorders and learn ways to treat and eventually prevent them.
	By educating all relevant professionals and parents of the therapeutic potential of EFA supplementation.

Those of you are interested in supporting us; please send a check of any denomination made out to C.H.E.R.A.B Foundation by August 6, 2001. Any persons who donate $100 or more will receive a free videotape with highlights from the events surrounding the dinner and the celebration of this conference for apraxia.
