Dear Lisa and Glenn,
I could not let another day go by without writing to thank you for
The Shop-In Service. I am so happy that Lisa came to do a presentation of The Shop-In
Service to the Advisory Committee for the Office of Disability for Sommerset County. In
the few short months that I have been utilizing your service the luxury of it has freed me
up to attend to the more important activities in my life.
Although I have had multiple sclerosis for 35 years, I stay very
active and am on several boards for various organizations. As you well know, I am
currently organizing a Walk-A-Thon to assist people with disabilities. I use a scooter and
have paralysis on one side and the other side is weak. So, even if I had the time to drive
to a store, shop, wait in line, and manage to get everything back to my home, shopping is
a tiresome activity for me. The Shop-In Service provides, what I refer to as, barrier-free
access.
It is amazing to me that I can just call you with what I need. No
matter what brand I use or service I am looking for, you have always come through for me.
For people such as myself, or anyone, I always highly recommend your service. Make sure
you always tell others about the affordability and the 100% money back guarantees. I also
like the fact that there are no minimums, and no contracts to sign. Sometimes shopping
with The Shop-In Service is cheaper than going shopping myself! Thats incredible!
With The Shop-In Service my frozen food shipments stay frozen
until such time I have assistance to unpack the cartons. Clothing that I ordered and had
shipped to my son in Florida arrived in time for my visit. You have helped me with gift
shopping, making helpful .suggestions when I wasnt sure what kind of gift to give.
Youve even had my computer fixed and had an AT&T voice activated phone installed
in my van!
Truly the best part of your service is your representatives. They
are so wonderful. I feel as though I am speaking to a friend rather than a business person
who is taking my shopping order. As I told you, I feel The Shop-In Service will mushroom
across the country. Who wouldnt want an affordable "personal" shopper? You
truly are an "affordable luxury".
If you show this letter to someone who would like to speak with me
personally, just let me know.
On a final note, during my career I have received numerous awards.
I am of the opinion you should receive an award for your caring dedication to those of us
in need. You are both inspiring people.
Regards,
Anna Day

Dear Lisa Geng and The Shop-In Service,
My name is Leanna Bell and I am 36 years old. I have been living
in Hunterdon County for the past 2 years. Prior to that I was married and living in Iowa.
I have a chronic eye disease that has left me blind for the past 8 years. Also, in
addition, I have other health problems that make it difficult for me to function normally
outside my home. I am a take charge type of person and am told that Im very outgoing
and friendly.
In the past 2 years I had been desperately searching for something
to assist me personally to no avail. I contacted numerous agencies and organizations, but,
to my despair, nobody could help me. I personally was getting so dumbfounded and angry
about the lack of services to people like myself I knew something had to be done. I can
not state strongly enough how desperate I was.
Then in May, through Hunterdon Medical Centers Social
Services Department, I was referred to Easter Seals. I spoke with Debbie Webber from
Easter Seals who felt I was lucky to call when I did. Debbie had just come from a board
meeting where she learned of The Shop-In Service and was excited to give me your toll free
number.
As I said before, I felt something had to be done, but as an
individual I was not able to do anything. Then I met you, Lisa Geng. I said, "Thank
you God that she started this service." The first conversation we had was the first
ray of hope I have had in years! I called Easter Seals to thank them for referring you to
me and told them I felt everyone should use your service.
My representative from The Shop-In Service provides very caring
and personalized service. I need detailed descriptions of the things I need or want to
purchase so that I can visualize them. You do not find that kind of service elsewhere. I
feel special when I call. I can sit in the comfort of my home in a relaxing atmosphere
without having to worry about bumping into doors or racks or other shoppers. I also like
that I can get just about any type of product or service without running to
a whole bunch of different types of stores.
Now I can just pick up the phone, and its there for me. For
that, I am shopping happily in New Jersey!
Thank you very much!
Yours truly,
Leanna Bell
