Verbal Apraxia Information "Can We Talk?"
A friendly, understandable website for apraxia.
"This excellent article by Ann S. Guild,
MACCC/SLP with some
additions Tracy Vail, MSCCC/SLP is reproduced with their permission in
order to help all parents, grandparents, special educators and speech language
pathologists
understand our children. It is the best handout that I have seen. Please
give it to anyone who touches children who display these symptoms."

Speech Therapy Matrix
Seek private evaluations from an
ASHA certified SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) as well as medical
evaluations from a neurologist and a developmental pediatrician who are
knowledgeable about apraxia as well as other disorders. Bring these
evaluations to your child's school with the guideline at this link which
is a guidelines for

Talking Page
Apraxia ranges from mild to severe. That's why it's great to be able
to listen to various children with apraxia talk, to compare to your own
child. Great website for watching the 2 year progress of Brandon who was
first diagnosed with apraxia at 5 (After a hospital evaluation diagnosed
him with a "moderate delay of speech" at 3 when he only had 4
or 5 words!)

and earned three academic awards the first part of this year, 3rd
grade.
NEW RECORDING!! Brandon and I (Dad) wrote the text
and Brandon read everything that you hear. Click here
to and listen to Brandon say, "My
name is Brandon Bilker. I made the Talking Page so you can hear other
Apraxic children speak. Thank you for listening."
